Your questions for Jonathan Jay

Posted by jonathan

Tonight, at 7pm, I’m interviewing Jonathan Jay, the man behind SuccessTrack and I want to ask him tough questions about business and marketing.

Please ask question as a comment to this blog post and although we can’t guarantee to have time to answer it, we’ll do our best!

Thanks,

Paul Green

What do you suggest I do with prospects who have dropped through the cracks in terms of reconnecting without looking unprofessional? (i.e. I was an idiot and did not follow up sales touches in good time!)

How important has been the use of Infusionsoft in automating your lead generation, lead nurturing, turning prospects into customers and then following up with them and how much have you automated.

On a B2B basis, have you any tips to overcome Prospect lethargy? It seems that so many businesses just don`t want any business help or advice – “Why change, we`ve always done it this way” is often what I hear, or, “My bank says…” when their bank clearly does not have that businesses interest at heart. How do you get through??

Examples of recent bad experiences that may be of interest :
I needed two new tyres recently but could I find someone that stayed open after 6pm?? No. I had to take 2 hours out of office time to deal with it.
I tried to buy a coffee at a cafe in a well known seaside town this summer – They closed at 5pm so wouldn`t serve me at 4.45pm….
I called at a pub one early evening and couldn`t get anything other than a full meal as they only sold snacks before, not after, 6pm!
Get the picture? Yet these places could take their profits to new heights if they would only look at the bigger picture.

If we need to speak with business owners, who may just become clients, just how do we get through to them – Comments appreciated.

I offered our product completely free of charge using 50% governement funding and 50% from another source. The product helps reduce the carbon footprint and takes 2 days to fit with little or no mess, when in place it will save the establishment on their fuel bills. I have explained the item in detail and they understand how it works but I am not getting the sale I get the feeling that they do not believe what I am offering. Any idea’s as to why?
