Re Paul:
"And what are they missing by not going deeper into the ideas?"

Even worse: not implementing what they learn for free ;-)

A friend of mine calls that: Shelf-developing instead of self-developing.

Very interesting.

I must admit that I hate it when people unsubscribe from my newsletter as I always try to provide good quality, business building tips and access to some great material.

I guess that it is because there is a feeling of rejection.

We've given them our best stuff and they are still not happy.

But sometimes you can't keep everybody happy and there are freeloaders.

I've had people brag to me about how they get all their business education free from the Internet.

There is some great stuff out there but how much time are they wasting hearing the same stuff over and over again?

Very engaging article, thank you! I often find a difference between knee-jerk reactions, and trusting your gut, yet those that jump off the cliff at the first sign of trouble are mixing the two.

If you keep reacting to every single person that says no, you'll lose focus on what you were doing originally, and lose even more!

Thanks once again for the great article (which I find via Karin), subscribed :)

Great article Marie-Louise! You've found the right story I many times fail to find to encourage my 'blog and/or AWeber' students to keep at it with great content.
I will direct them all to this article if you don't mind.

Great wake up call! We just need to get over ourselves and concentrate on providing massive value to those people who are listening, not focus on those who aren't.
